While Sorry Vampire is not quite to the level of being a masterpiece, the album proves that Ralston may just be the type of artist who has a masterpiece in him.

John Ralston obviously loves power pop and melodies, so what could be better than combining the two for a truly stellar debut album? Fans of everyone from Eliott Smith to XTC would be wise to remember the name.
