'Chernobyl Diaries' Is Like the Real Chernobyl, in That There's Nothing There

Paranormal Activity took the most generic location possible, a suburban house, and wrung it for the maximum amount of tension it could create. Chernobyl Diaries took a setting full of inherent creepiness and made the event so predictable that it lost its power to frighten.
