The selections on this list aren't necessarily bad albums -- some actually happen to be among the most critically acclaimed of this year. In some cases, it's just that the albums weren't what fans were expecting, and in others, they were exactly what they were expecting.

Torrential rains on the first day caused Friday to end early and left the Governors Ball grounds very very muddy. But throughout the weekend, music from Kanye, Cut Copy and several other bands made trudging through the sloppy field worthwhile.

Though it wasn’t the first Red Rocks show of the summer for everybody, it was certainly a great way to kick it off for most – a bill featuring both Feist and Bon Iver in a single night at one of the most beautiful venues in the country.
