On 48:13, Kasabian largely eschew rock, pop and melody for a sound dominated by electronica and synths. With this they have lost a lot of what made them so good.

Velociraptor! is a huge album of huge sounds and huge ideas in a digital age when downloading and the oft-overstated demise of the recording industry was supposed to have killed such grand gestures off.

Although the material here won't get you hooked like "Club Foot", Kasabian are back with a vengeance. That is, a spacey, hippie-tinged, and occasionally horn-laced vengeance.
