The Inquisitor: The Plague

The only thing that redeems any part of the game is Nicholas’s harsh, unhinged charisma. Hearing him lay down his holy wrath on an unsuspecting heretic or blasphemer is an affront to every modern moral that we hold dear and despicable in light of any historical knowledge of the inquisition, but you cannot turn your eyes away from the screen.

It can't be argued that Syberia or its sequel are flawless masterpieces the way films like Dr. Strangelove or The Sweet Hereafter are, but in the history of gaming they stand out as pinnacles of the form.
