Montreal post-punk veterans We Are Wolves are set to release a new album soon, but in the meantime have a new single due out on 13 November in the form of the pop-infused “Feed Them”.
“‘Feed Them’ is a very intimate song,” explains singer/bassist Alexander Ortiz. “It talks about the complexity and the abstraction of being a parent and the the challenge of providing decent education to your children, outside the normative social framework.”
As an added bonus, the B-side of the single is a throttling punk rendition of Black Sabbath’s seminal “Paranoid”, which is well worth a listen.
