Glee is getting into the Halloween spirit by taking on the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. The show, which has paid tribute to everything from “bad” songs to religious songs to Britney Spears, will get some help paying homage from some original Rocky Horror cast members; Barry Bostwick and Meatloaf will be stopping by, but don’t be looking forward to them reprising their original roles. The Rocky Horror roles will be filled by the glee club members; early photos reveal Finn and Rachel as Brad and Janet, naturally, Kurt looking beyond perfect as Riff Raff and recurring quest star John Stamos as Eddie.
As all themed Glee episodes, the Rocky Horror episode has been garnering a lot of hype since it was first announced this summer. Glee has recently gained even more attention, although this time surprisingly negative, thanks to a racy GQ spread. Well, if anything will prove what a wholesome show Glee really is, its dancing around in underwear, transvestites, and a rousing rendition of “Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me”.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Doolittle, the Pixies are giving away live tracks to fans who sign up for their newsletter. The live tracks are recordings from their current tour and shows from the band’s touring history. This is a fine treat for any Pixie fan: new, young or old(er). You can download the four tracks on the Pixie site.
While you’re cruising around their site, you’ll also want to check out a very cool fan-centric element about the Pixies tour archive called the gigography. The interactive tour history catalog allows fans to tag and upload various forms of social and new media—Tweets, YouTube videos, photos—from the shows fans have attended on the current tour and shows throughout the Pixies entire touring history.
