The Avett Brothers have released a video chronicling both the performance and behind-the-scenes experience of their three-day run at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater.

The North Carolina folk mainstays the Avett Brothers have released live footage, including a behind-the-scenes documentary, from their recent run of three performance at the storied Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. The group is fresh off of its most recent studio release, Magpie and the Dandelion, which PopMatters‘s Steve Leftridge describes as having “compositional riches in serviceable songwriting and a continuing pursuit of refined musicianship.”

Check out the title track from powerhouse singer Leticia Rodriguez Garza's forthcoming EP, Sagüita Al Bate, which pays tribute to her aunt, Eva Garza.

Backed by a vivacious band (with some stellar horns, to boot), Leticia Rodriguez Garza, the niece of legendary Latin vocalist Eva Garza, pays impressive tribute to Eva with “Sagüita Al Bate”, the title cut off of her forthcoming EP. Eva Garza is notable for being the first Latin American artist to have her own radio show on CBS. During the second World War, she was bestowed the title “Sweetheart of the Americas”. Leticia lives up to her aunt’s impressive musical reputation on “Sagüita Al Bate”, a tune of Eva’s.

Check out the latest tune from the Michigan rockers Frontier Ruckus, "Bathroom Stall Hypnosis", which deals with the fallout of a "weird and unceremonious" breakup.

“Bathroom Stall Hypnosis” is one of the first tracks to drop from the Michigan rock outfit Frontier Ruckus’ forthcoming album, Sitcom Afterlife. The song’s energetic instrumentation is a catchy and clever masquerade for the album’s reflective and deep lyrical material, a trait which runs through Frontier Ruckus’ music overall. (PopMatters writer Justin Cober-Lake has called the group’s lyrical style “carefully crafted stream of consciousness.”) The band is just coming off their 2013 double LP, Eternity of Dimming, and based on the vivacious spirit of this song, the release of Sitcom Afterlife has a lot in store for listeners.
