Anyone who grew up as a lover of music in the early-to-mid ‘00s can’t help but remember the ubiquitous compilation series Now That’s What I Call Music!, often known by the short name Now. In these compilations, the biggest hits of the day were compiled into one convenient disc, giving listeners a veritable tasting plate of the music of the moment. This series stuck with the public, too: the Now series is second only to the Beatles in chart history; all 52 of the Now albums have broken into the Billboard 200‘s top ten, with 18 of those taking the number one spot. Well, we’re not but a month into 2015 and Now is already getting the party started with Now53, which features chart dominators such as Mark Ronson feat.
