Palladium Boots gets funky with Major Lazer and Ms. Dynamite.

Palladium Boots, the ultra-cool urban footwear company, has joined forced with none other than Major Lazer and the fabulous Ms. Dynamite to produse a new video spotlighting the very best shoes for exploring all those unseen nooks and crannies of the city landscape. Los Angeles-based dancers, the Underground Street Chronicles, star in the new video for “Sweat”, dancing their hearts out with glow in the dark make-up, clothes and, of course, boots from the Fall/Winter Palladium collection. The visuals are stunning and original alongside Major Lazer’s pumping beats. Director Ryan Staake (Diplo) shot the video in black lights and those neon elements are joined with droplets and splashes of neon paint that suggest graffiti art, creating a multimedia homage to urban style. Check out the full line of Palladium Boots at palladiumboots.com.

Our friends at Smirnoff have created new artistic project, Mindtunes, that involves groundbreaking methods of creating music through brainwaves.

Accomplished British electronic music producer DJ Fresh teamed up with three disabled musicians—Andy, Mark and Jo—who share Fresh’s passion for electronic music, but lack the ability to physically play the keys of a synthesizer, in order to create a new song based solely on the three men’s brainwaves. Dr. Julien Castet is the fellow who manages the technology, which utilizes Brain-Computer Interfaces that allows individuals to literally send commands to a computer via their brainwaves. It’s hugely powerful technology that opens up a world of creativity and digital productivity to people previously denied such means of expression.
