The group will appear at a bunch of festivals, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Sasquatch, and will be headline a bunch of shows throughout the US.

A rather easygoing track, “Setting Sun”, the newest tune by Swervedriver, features the band’s familiar mix of shimmering and jagged guitars. The song is the lead single from I Wasn’t Born to Lose You, the band’s first album of new material since 99th Dream in 1998.
Having released the road-weary piece of Americana Paint Another Layer of My Heart this year, Caleb Caudle is no stranger to covers. Taking on “Lost in the Supermarket” by the Clash for Couch By Couchwest 2014, the New Orleans singer/songwriter recently recorded a song from fellow This Is American Music labelmates Fire Mountain. Deftly handling standout “Doing Fine” from Fire Mountain’s All Dies Down, the song would not have been out of place on Caudle’s Paint Another Layer on My Heart.
Meanwhile, the band is touring heavily throughout November and January.
After an eight-year musical hiatus, Nashville musical mystic Stone Jack Jones released his third album, Ancestor, earlier this year. Describing his music in a recent mini-documentary on the making of Ancestor, Jones noted, “Despite my nature and inclination to disappear into the dark, my friends have the tendency to rouse me and lead me towards the light. Without them there would be no story told.”
