John Andrew Fredrick of the Black Watch owns Donny Osmond's guitar and he's really happy about it.

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
I dropped an unabridged Random House dictionary on my foot while wearing flip-flops. Needless to say, the tears welled up big time.

2. The fictional character most like you?
I am Holden Caulfield.  My penchant for italics proves it.

3. The greatest album, ever?
The greatest album ever is Revolver, but if you quote me, The White Album and Rubber Soul are going to be seriously miffed.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Starsailor. (Just kidding: they’re the worst.)

5. Your ideal brain food?
I’ve never tried the sesos tacos at any truck in Los Angeles.

Denmark's Fashion has been around since 2003, but the group only recently made their North American debut at SXSW this past March. Look for their US debut record this summer on Epic Records. You can check out a preview EP on iTunes now.

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
Tough one, but I think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was the last one that really got to me.

2. The fictional character most like you?
The nameless narrator of the book Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. Obviously, it later on became a Hollowood box office hit movie. So, if you´re too lazy for the book just watch the movie, because it still hits a sore spot in almost everyone. A clver way of sticking it to “the man” and I am all for that.

3. The greatest album, ever?
Live After Death by Iron Maiden, a concert recording from Los Angeles at the peak of their carrer in ´85 with a bunch of songs from a brilliant back catalogue. That album always takes me back.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Star Wars for sure. I am an official memeber of the Hyper Space community at StarWars.com so I am almost religious about that. My apartment is overflowing with Star Wars gear. I used to play Star Wars Trivial Pursuit once a week a few years back. We stopped because we all knew all the questions by heart.

Nada Surf's Ira Elliot really loves the Beatles and blood sausage.

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

2. The fictional character most like you?
Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. Screech, unfortunately.

3. The greatest album, ever?
Abbey Road dude. C’mon.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Trek. No, wars. That’s a tough one. There’s lots of great treks but only two great wars. Feel me?

5. Your ideal brain food?
Blood sausage.

UK solo artist, Frank Turner, formerly of hardcore band Million Dead answers PopMatters' 20 Questions.

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
A book of poetry by Philip Larkin. I’m a latecomer to his work, and I don’t usually do this, but a combination of his awesomeness and a hangover made me cry. On the train. Everyone thought I was weird.

2. The fictional character most like you?
Hmm, maybe Sal Paradise from On the Road. That’s what I’d like to think anyways. A recordist for the madmen of this world.

3. The greatest album, ever?
Almost impossible question. Possibly Springsteen’s Nebraska.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Star Wars, but no way the new episodes.

Known for their whiskey-tinged guitar riffs, jangly rhythms, and power-pop vocal harmonies, the Blakes have been lauded for their infectious sound by SPIN and Iggy Pop. Forever touring in support of their debut full-length album, the Blakes tour this spring with the Gossip and the Kills. Drummer Bob Husak answers PopMatters' 20 Questions.

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
I cried while watching The Cutting Edge, but let’s keep that between you and me. I mean, Moira Kelly was really a sweet girl under her aloof veneer, someone just had to get her to open up.

2. The fictional character most like you?
Columbo. I’ll tell ya, I got this cousin Ralph who says I look just like him, but he’s kinda cockeyed so it’s hard to trust his opinion. Now me, I think I’m more of a Rockford type. You know, it’s funny how people are different.

Oh, there’s just one more thing. I don’t have a glass eye. Let me ask you this: Was Columbo supposed to have a glass eye, or was Peter Falk’s glass eye playing the part of a real eye?

3. The greatest album, ever?
Jackie Gleason’s Music to Make You Misty. Women will melt if you put this on. Besides, it has the best cover ever, bar none.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
My roommate lobbies hard for Star Trek. Again, let’s keep this under wraps, but I think Janeway’s really got something going for her, I mean in a sexual way.
