Joanna Dee and Shantaia Poulin – “Click Click Bang Bang” (video) (premiere)

Western Canadian singer-songwriters Joanna Dee and Shantaia Poulin are following in the footsteps of recent breakthrough country artists as Jess Moskaluke and Kira Isabella, smartly blending sassy mainstream country with a strong pop sensibility. Normally solo artists, the two friends joined forces on the new single “Click Click Bang Bang”, and as you can tell in the song and on the fun new video below, the young women had no trouble at all getting their Miranda Lambert on. There’s girl power, revenge fantasy, humour, and best of all, a knockout of a hook.

“When I started “Click Click Bang Bang”, I knew I wanted it to be a strong female duet and I knew right away that I wanted to get Shantaia Poulin in as a co-writer and co-star on the single,” Joanna says. “She has a powerful voice and passion for music and I really enjoyed doing this project with her.”

“This has been such a cool project,” adds Shantaia. “Getting to write songs with Joanna has been so much fun since we’re such close friends, but producing a song and music video with her was an incredible time.”
