The Visit (2001)
Unlike currently popular representations of prison -- say, your average Sly-Stallone-type-in-prison movie or Tom Fontana's justly celebrated HBO series, 'Oz', made dazzling with acrobatic camerawork and fast-cut editing -- 'The Visit' is unflashy, almost to a fault.

Facing his boys on the basketball court, where they go to sweat, score, and hash out their 'stuff', Terry (Shemar Moore) argues -- none too convincingly -- that his settling down is a sign of his maturity. The others are unconvinced. And so they go on to talk about it. A lot.
