Mike Patton: The Solitude of Prime Numbers (Original Soundtrack)

His Dark Exotica: Ennio Morricone - “Interrupted Melody”
Irrespective of its placement in 'Exorcist II: The Heretic', both “Interrupted Melody” and its sister track, "Interrupted Melody (Suspended Sound)", work astoundingly well as `70s film-culture quantifiers, delivering Ennio Morricone’s ability to challenge us not only with atonality, or in this case, clearly presented tonality in contrast to his more abstract works.

Bokar Rimpoche: Sacred Chants and Tibetan Rituals from the Monastery of Mirik
The purring groan of the enormous horns and the glittering chimes of the bells are intensely eerie, and then there is the gradual, heaving chant of the massed monks...

Jonny Greenwood: There Will Be Blood
There is only the stultifying loneliness, sadness, and occasionally the twistedness of the film to be found in its music.
