Dear God I Love Xiu Xiu

Humor is not uncommon in Xiu Xiu's music, which often contains similar, nuanced playfulness. Asked where it comes from, Stewart is quick to take a jab at himself. "I'm sort of a dumbass. It's probably initially really inspired by the aforementioned and oft-mentioned Morrissey in that a lot of his songs are incredibly depressing but really funny."
