It was at the 2011 New Yorker Festival that Mitchell Hurwitz, creator of Arrested Development, announced that the much- beloved but all too short-lived comedy show would be making a return.

He was there with everyone from the main cast for a special Bluth family reunion/panel discussion. In preparation for the new season, which premieres in its entirety on Netflix later this month, The New Yorker recently posted full video of the event on its website. If you have an hour and a half to spare, do watch it. Hurwitz and the cast (along with Ron Howard, who continues his role as a disembodied voice) discuss the process of making the show, their favorite moments, influences, and why Tobias’ mustache created a touch-and-go situation. They conclude by once again demonstrating that few members of the House of Bluth have ever seen a chicken.
