Call for Papers: PopMatters Celebrates The Jam in Massive Special Section

Music

“We fight this battle not for ourselves, but for our children, and our children’s children, which is why I’m forming a children’s brigade.” - Captain Zapp Brannigan

Don’t panic! Set your faces on fun, ‘cause this mix boldly goes where man has fun galore. Some of these sounds may have been crafted a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, but their combined force will impact you greater than the greatest hits of Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes. At times, this mix evokes the beauty of C-beams glittering in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate, while others simulate the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. So, grab your multipass, green, and klaatu barada nikto.

The holidays are full of dreadful music being pumped from every speaker in every commercial business. May the latest from Soundscape provide you with a pleasant respite of solace, a bit of shelter from all the pop star vanity and pseudo-comedic novelty albums that attempt to penetrate your earholes from every angle.
