The Evolution of VintageGlobal Beat Fusion[31 May 2007] by Derek BeresOne of the glaring paradoxes of technological evolution is its ability to reconnect us to history. And if we know anything about human nature, it's that as we step into the future, we always look back.

Three Nights in FranceDerek Beres12.May.08 Beres hits Paris and Bourges to take in the eclectic sounds of Transglobal Underground, Les Primitifs du Futur, Watcha Clan, and Fat Freddy's Drop, and gets pulled into the "sacred space" that solders the connection between sound and human. The only flaw I found with this article was a minor technical spelling error: It should be spelled timbre, not timber, as the word itself is pronounced closer to “tam-ber” than timber (found under Cult Cargo: Belize City Boil Up). You can either address this or leave it be; it’s so minor as to not warrant much detraction, really.
