Ireland's Brian O'Driscoll tackles France's Tony Marsh in the 2003 Rugby World Cup

A Cultural Preview of the 2007 Rugby World Cup

Rugby 101: the proverbial game for ruffians played by gentlemen (as opposed to soccer, a game for gentlemen played by ruffians).

Just to correct one point, apparently the All Blacks are not called so due to the colour of their uniform, but rather because of a typographical error by a local scribe during the 1905 tour of the UK, who was trying to describe the NZ team as playing like “all backs”. No doubt the colour of the uniform helped make the name stick though.
