Kaisischke's grotesque images of the natural world remind me of Sylvia Plath. She is a master of highlighting the splendor and tragedy working side-by-side in everyday life.

I saw this last year when it was still “In Bloom”, really liked it, and now would like to check out the source material. Great read!

hello,
i just watched the movie, never read the book.. i didnt really understand why micheal shot diana.. was that meant to show that diana “died” that day although she didnt really die? another part of the movie i didnt understand was what was the significance of her daughters “disappearance” and the scene in the graveyard with the headstone that read emma.. lastly why did diana see her husband “cheat” with the the younger version of herself?
I really loved the movie i was just a bit unsure about some of it.

The kids who grew up in the '90s had the haunted Kurt Cobain; my generation had the tormented Ian Curtis.

The time is ripe for revisiting One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, as we're all aware that individual freedoms are still being suppressed by governments around the world.
