Excellent Zeth...it’s so easy to take for granted just how prolific Motown was in delivering hits that STILL hold up today (especially since new artists and producers keep tipping their hats to the Motown sound).

Personally, 1967 contains three of my all-time favorites from the label:

“Reflections”
“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”
“I Heard It Through the Grapevine”

As to L.B. Jeffries comment above, I’d take the best of both worlds rather than one over the other...apples and oranges, you know.
