Judgment Night: Music from the Motion Picture (1993)

[4 April 2008]

by James Greene, Jr.

A look at the album that may have spawned rap rock and that supplies the missing link between Biohazard and Emilio Estevez.

Yes, yes and thrice yes!

This is a cer-lassic soundtrack.

Great article. My only regret is that you quoted my favourite line before I had the chance to.

‘Feelin’ like DeNiro in Taxi Driver’. Genius!

Terrible movie though…

What, no love for Faith No More?

Yeah you forgot Faith No More and Boo ya Tribe, I bought the 12” at the time, I was living in Wolverhampton and regularly went to a nightclub who’s name I totally forget now, they played it all the time. Even then though I found it funny seeing Metal kids (ie white) with fuzzy beards and wearing those silly knee length shorts and huge boots, and beanie hat, in a club at 1 am, “dancing” or metal moshing to a rap song.
It did make you feel all gangstery though, which is a laugh really isn’t it?! Show us real guns and we’d all pee ourselves!
