Quiet, Please author Scott Douglas speaks out about the future of libraries, being played by Oprah in the movie version, and his recent library-themed wedding.

Based on this interview, I don’t think I’d ever read this book. This guy comes across as pompous and unlikeable. I’ve worked in the field for over 10 years, and I can’t really identify with this dude’s experiences or attitude.  I’d rather hang out with Party Girl!

I don’t know what the other guy was talking about in his comment! I thought the interview was great, and his comment about the future of libraries was spot on.
