The thing that Neil is not recognizing is that hardly anyone even has a basic hi-fidelity sound system equivalent to the college dorm standards of 1972...no decent speakers, no decent amps. Low-end headphones prevail now or low-fi surround systems. What is his real point. Five to ten years from now, these archive discs will be an oddity on a shelf by themselves. And people will be trying to convert them to listen on their “pocket-players” and ear-bud headphones
