Finicky eating

Alton Brown's recipes usually work, but he uses flow charts and slide rules to figure out serving sizes and cookie diameters.

Obviously, you don’t “get” Alton Brown. This show is exactly what it should be and was wildly entertaining...if you “get” Alton and his brand of humor/cooking/entertainment. If you don’t, you won’t get the full enjoyment out of this show. I’m sorry you fall into the latter category. I loved the show and am eagerly awaiting the next installment in August 2007.

I must say I “get” Alton Brown and don’t find this show to be “wildly” entertaining. I did find it to be a good show however, much as the reviewer did.
What I don’t “get” is why sometimes avid fans of shows and personalities find they must come out of the woodwork with the singular purpose of disrespecting someone’s opinion by insulting them when their review is any less than a “perfect 10”.
I don’t feel this other commentor feels sorry at all, and perhaps the only thing they look forward to more than the next installment of their idol ‘s show is the chance to discredit anyone who views them with anything less than omnipotence.
