(MVD)

US release date: 3 April 2007

West Coast rap publication melds two types of media to promote its latest stars.

WOW!! Such harsh comments. I know the lady who put her heart, soul and eveerything she has into making this dvd-zine. The world is used to the producxt that you get when you put massive amounts of money into it to make it look good. This lady took and dream that she had and used the resources that were available to her and created a BEAUTIFUL product based on that alone. How many people would be willing to give up what she did and go against the flow of what society whats to fulfill her dream, foe you as a crictic to come by and not even look at the creativity it took to make this happen and justr dismiss it with your out right mean OPINION. Personally I feel that any product released as a first effort from someone with the courage to, not try, but to ACHIEVE his/her goal is worth giving a try. Your article makes it seem like the dvd-zine is not even worth looking at. Based on your column if I was a consumer looking to buy this magazine I wouldn’t or if I was an artist approached by this magazine I would not do an interview. In my opinion as a “critic” you need to look into the product throughly before you hand out your opinion so freely. The magazine is not what you have protrayed it to be but indeed is a work in progress.
