Dear Mr. Cheadle,
I’ve seen the movie Talk to Me and thoroughly enjoyed both your performance and the film. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Taraji Henten were outstanding as well. The subject matter was refreshing and informative since as a native born New Yorker I was unfamiliar with Petey Green and his days as a DJ and activitist.
It would be really good to see this movie playing in more theaters. Currently, I think it is only in one theater in NYC and has been in only two the entire time it has been running here. I am sure that there are plenty of people 40 and above that will appreciate the story of Petey Green, the music and clothing of the 60s and 70s and remembering a time of change and possibility in the U.S. Yours was a memorable performance and I would like to see again and share it with others.
