Close Proximities

Aliens in America critiques U.S. disciplining of differences of all sorts, despite the usual trumpeting of a dedication to "multiculturalism" and "diversity."

Yes, it is a great show, more than a comedy, or even a “dramedy”.  It has a very different take on the issues of race, American youth and culture, family life, and priorities in today’s world.

It is a wonderful TV show and it is certainly one of the best shows on TV.  It is little wonder that so many people haven’t “gotten” it because it is not mainstream, however.

It is just sad that it has finished at the end of season one, but with the ratings, I guess the CW did not have much choice, unless they were prepared to advertise it more and even change it’s timeslot.

Do we get a boxed set, with some commentaries from the fantastic cast?

Regards, and thanks,
Wendy
