Feeling Strange

Pushing Daisies features super-saturated colors and bright, bold patterns, a perfect antidote to the dark and grainy moodiness that permeates most primetime dramas.

Glad you enjoyed the pilot.  I think it’s amazing television and I hope the ratings were there.  One small note…

“That’s not weird. It’s symmetrical.” actually Ned says “It’s magical”

“It’s magical?” That’s even better! Swoon, indeed.

I really liked it! I can only hope that the plot picks up a little more; I was mostly just dazzled by the visuals and the dialogue in the pilot.

What it reminded me of, more than anything else, is the French movie Amelie! The narrator, the vibrant colors, the strange characters, the flashbacks to childhood… sooo similar! Fortunately, Amelie is one of my favorite movies :)
