Conspiracy Theories

The primary draw in the National Treasures is Nic Cage, odd and spasmodic, undeniably charismatic.

I’ve just seen the movie in the States and found it an entertaining romp through history. Although the dialogue does not really match the skills of the cast, it does make history accessible to wide audience. For example, Gate’s searches two desks in the first half of the film. These actually exist - they come from the timbers of a ship called Resolute (checkout Elizabeth Matthews’ recently published book “HMS Resolute")
