Anything Goes

Methodically, relentlessly, Gibney's Oscar-nominated documentary assembles stories, evidence, and testimony from witnesses and experts.

Thank you for such a profoundly intelligent insight. I’ve been wanting to see this documentary because I believe it shows the grittier elements of the reality of war that, frankly, doesn’t get much air time ‘cause it’s too depressing or confusing for some to swallow.

After reading your review, it just made me more keen to watch this film. The issue, and the people involved, deserve at the very least that. Thanks!

While Gonzo makes a familiar case, that Thompson frequently lost himself in celebrity, it also argues for his legacy, not cynicism but optimism.
