Chicago Tribune (MCT)

The colorful, compelling story of a deadly medical faker and the Chicago doctor who helped stop him.

I read with interest and a laugh as I remember
my childhood in a small town in Missouri, and I
can vividly remember the name - Dr. Brinkley -
My grandmother lived with us and she and my
mother listened to Dr. Brinkley broadcast from
Del Rio, Texas.  Don’t know why I remember but I
also remember a green and white box that was
KRAZY KRYSTALS, I believe they ordered from Dr.
Brinkley, Apparently it didn’t harm them - my
grandmother lived to 96 and my mother died in
1983 at the age of 103.  Thanks for the memory.
