Lingering Questions

That "Eyewitness to Murder" doesn't reach a definitive conclusion speaks elliptically and effectively to the experience of being "black in America."

I thought “everyone knew” that the FBI was behind it. Or maybe that’s my liberal-arts education :) I wouldn’t be surprised if they laundered it through the Mafia, although that sounds more complicated than it needs to be, especially considering that they didn’t blame it on the Mafia afterward - did they?
