Condemned 2: BloodshotPlatforms: Xbox 360 (Reviewed), PlayStation 3 Publisher: Sega Developer: Monolith ESRB Rating: Mature 12 March 2008, 1-8 players, $59.99 [18 April 2008] by Ryan SmithCondemned 2: Bloodshot is entertaining enough, but it still feels like it's written by two socially awkward 15-year-old boys who dress in black and listen to a little too much Slipknot.
I agree with JTPA’s comment. This game review is quite pathetic. Surprised that PopMatters would even publish this. Where’s the informed analysis? Any discuss of the Condemned series premise? Any consideration of the plot (which is quite synthetic). This is actually quite a satisfying game, and has a definitive place in survival horror. And the mechanics are actually quite a step up in terms of engaging the player--both in the nuanced use of physical controls (this is not button mashing combat) and the demands on attention. And the mixture of crime-solving and the supernatural, though conflicted terrain, is actually a wet dream for many horror players. Sites such as gamespot and ign are doing a far better job of critique, even when tinged by fan-boy bias. Comment by tvdeliverspeople — June 22, 2008 @ 12:07 pm

I hae this awesome idea for a review of “Condemned 2: Bloodshot.” Just make it 75% filler and based on a completely stupid fictional conversation, and then barely discuss the game once you get done with the wankfest. Seriously. Learn to write game reviews. This was terrible.
