This intriguing documentary seeks to restore Wagstaff – an enigmatic, enthralling figure by any reckoning – to his rightful place at the centre of New York's art world in the '70s and '80s.

This excellent film will be showing at the Detroit Institute of Arts on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a strolling supper, and following the film, a panel discussion with art world figures who knew Wagstaff. Tickets are $35 - for more information, call 313-833-4020
