'Lebanon' Succeeds Through Its Restrictions
Using only the inside of a tank as a setting, the film is a story about modern warfare generally as much as it is one about the 1982 Lebanon War specifically.

'Lebanon': War Through a Very Particular Perspective
By its very definition, restricting choices...is restrictive. There's a lot to admire about Lebanon. There's also a lot left out.
