New Zealand’s Crowded House will be releasing their long-awaited follow-up to 2007’s Time on Earth in June. Titled Intriguer, this is really the band’s first proper post-reunion album, since Time On Earth began life as a Neil Finn solo album. Crowded House have reportedly signed a new record deal with Universal Music for all territories except the US. Expect a US release for Intriguer, though, as Crowded House will be touring North America later in the summer. Here’s the premier performance of first single “Saturday Sun” on New Zealand’s TV3.

On Crowded House's first true post-reunion group effort, the hooks aren't as readily apparent as in the past. That may be a good thing.
