'Lost' Viewing Parties Around the U.S.

Friday, May 21, 2010

This Sunday is the series finale for TV’s Lost. Are you staying in and watching it in the comfort of your living room or headed down to a locale gathering spot for a group viewing?

Better yet, venues and community groups around the country are organizing Lost viewing parties complete with costumes and themed decorations.

The Pop Candy blog over at USA Today has started to compile a little list of public viewing parties for Sunday night’s extra long episode. So far they’ve got:

Arlington, Va.: Arlington Cinema N Drafthouse
Atlanta: Strand Theatre
Austin: Alamo South Lamar, Alamo Ritz, Alamo Village
Camden, N.J.: Adventure Aquarium
Cincinnati: Bistro 737
Dallas: Angelika Dallas
Greensboro, N.C.: Carousel Cinemas
Larkspur, Calif.: Lark Theater
Milwaukee: Leff’s Lucky Town
New York: 92Y Tribeca, The Bell House (Brooklyn), Studio Square Beer Garden (Astoria)
Orange County, Calif.: Campus Billiards
Portland, Ore.: Bagdad Theater & Pub
South Burlington, Vt.: Higher Ground

Small towns shouldn’t be overlooked, though. Here in Boone, North Carolina I know that The ReelHouse Cinema and Draft is hosting a viewing party. Any international fans hosting viewing parties? Where will people be watching Lost in your neck of the woods? Are you staying in and watching it in the comfort of your living room or headed down to a locale gathering spot for a group viewing? You can post your party in the comments or head over to Pop Candy and post to update the list.
