Seattle's Brent Amaker and the Rodeo has been plying their trade as a noirish country band steeped in whiskey and Johnny Cash since 2005.

Seattle’s Brent Amaker and the Rodeo has been plying their trade as a noirish country band steeped in whiskey and Johnny Cash since 2005. As if to highlight that dark edge to the band, Spark & Shine Records will package their new tunes in a limited edition package with an adult graphic fiction novel called Mescal De La Muerte and written by horror filmmaker Jay Cynik. You can catch Brent Amaker and the Rodeo at their upcoming Bumbershoot and Heineken City Arts Festival dates. Their latest album is Please Stand By, releasing 19 October and “Saddle Up” is a preview of coming attractions.
