Call for Papers: PopMatters Celebrates The Jam in Massive Special Section

Best Coast Gets Catty

Tuesday, Jan 18, 2011

Southern California trio Best Coast have amped up the cuteness in their latest video for “Crazy For You”. Backing up their ‘60s style vibe are the delightful kittens of Icanhascheezburger.com. The website that has developed a cult following lends its cheeky humor to the bands poppy title track of their debut album for an overload of adorable. Fans are encouraged to enter the I Can Has Cheezeburger contest for the opportunity to win tickets for Best Coast’s upcoming tour along with some other “cat-tastic” prize packs.

When not being directed by their fury friends, Best Coast has kept busy with an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and releasing a limited edition Summer Is Forever split 7” with Wavves consisting of previously unreleased tracks. The release comes just as the two bands prepare for their national co-headlining tour which begins January 21 in San Diego.
