Shaking Through, a collaboration between WXPN and Philadelphia-based non-profit Weathervane Music, just released the latest edition to their ongoing experiment toward cutting through the noise in post-music industry world, “Borrowed Heart” by Hezekiah Jones. Hezekiah Jones is an ever-changing cast of musicians threading glistening strings and banging percussion through songs written by Philly neo-folk anchor Raphael Cutrufello. “Borrowed Heart” is the ensemble’s latest tune and may be included on an upcoming album. As usual, the Shaking Through session entails both a single produced by Brian McTear at his Miner Street studio and an accompanying mini documentary video.
