Yeah, there seems to be an endless parade of these hypnagogic light shows, but does it matter if it’s all so good? Here, Konx-Om-Pax seems to be coordinating his visuals life and moves from what looks like a Ballardian orgy of a car pile-up to rainbow tunnels streaming out of a Day of the Dead skull as the artist/group (?) riffs on “Why Aren’t You Here?” from the latest album, Light in Extension, out now on Display Copy. The former album also features Laurel Halo and Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai.
