While you’re waiting to hear that new My Bloody Valentine record that never came out two or three days ago, you can check out Rachel Zeffira’s orchestrated cover of MBV’s “To Here Knows When”. 
  




NPR offers a good write-up on the cover.  The arrangement is quite elegant, and Zeffira’s take on Bilinda Butcher’s distant, indecipherable vocals is quite faithful to the original


Oh, and about that new MBV record, I think we can only follow the advice of Stereogum commenter lolwut. You know it’s sad but true.

The shoegaze legends are back touring in support of their hugely anticipated and epically delayed new album. So it's a bit strange they hardly play any of it.
