Gregg Gillis (Girl Talk) sure loves Indiana Jones...

1. The latest book or movie that made you cry?
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I cried because I was hoping so bad that they would show a real alien, and then they did. I couldn’t believe they went there. God bless.

2. The fictional character most like you?
Mutt Williams from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I thought I hated Shia LeBeouf going into this movie, but I changed my mind real quick. When he was swinging from the vines with the monkeys, that was right up my alley.

3. The greatest album, ever?
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull soundtrack. I was so pumped that they got John Williams back to do the compositions for this soundtrack, just like with the first three movies. There’s some amazing and pioneering usage of a continuum on this album. “Ants!” is the type of tune I could never sick of, it makes feel good when things aren’t going so well. “Secret Doors and Scorpions” is another banger, such a a summer jam.

4. Star Trek or Star Wars?
I haven’t seen any Star Trek, plus Star Wars has Harrison Ford in it and was created by George Lucas. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had Harrison Ford in it and was created by George Lucas.

5. Your ideal brain food?
I’ve never had it but monkey brains.

6. You’re proud of this accomplishment, but why?
I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on the opening weekend. A lot of people did this as well, but I was in the middle of Illinois playing at a festival called Summercamp. I doubt any other performers there caught it that weekend. Plus, I made it back in time to see Blind Melon, with their new singer.

7. You want to be remembered for…?
I’m in no way affiliated with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but I want to be. I’m trying to make that happen. And I hope people will remember me for it.

8. Of those who’ve come before, the most inspirational are?
I’m inspired by the fearless explorers, the seekers of true knowledge. It’s a tie between George Lucas and the fictional character of Indiana Jones.

9. The creative masterpiece you wish bore your signature?
That’s a tough question, but I think I’m going to go with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. If I made that movie, the world would love me forever. I’d be a legend.

10. Your hidden talents…?
I haven’t tried it yet, but I feel like I could have a psychic connection with an ancient skull, if given the opportunity.

11. The best piece of advice you actually followed?
When the question arises with Mutt Williams about whether it’ll be OK to fix motorcycles for the rest of his life in the movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indiana replies “Not if you love it - and don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.”

12. The best thing you ever bought, stole, or borrowed?
I buy a lot of things. I don’t know what the best was. Something cool off the top of my head, I got a popcorn and root beer for an additional $2 with my $4 Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ticket, it was the deal of the day or something like that. The movie ruled, and the popcorn and drink were icing on the cake.

13. You feel best in Armani or Levis or…?
Noel Howard’s, of MBA Costumiers, safari-style semi-khaki-style pants.

14. Your dinner guest at the Ritz would be?
Cate Blanchett. She’s a very classy lady. I get along pretty well with Australians. Also, she was in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

15. Time travel: where, when and why?
I would go back to the 1500’s to Francisco Orellana’s grave.

16. Stress management: hit man, spa vacation or Prozac?
I like to let my mind escape on vacation. This year, I want to visit the Temple of Akator in the Amazon rainforest.

17. Essential to life: coffee, vodka, cigarettes, chocolate, or…?
Archaeology.

18. Environ of choice: city or country, and where on the map?
Anywehre near the Nazca lines in Peru.

19. What do you want to say to the leader of your country?
I don’t want to give anything away, but there were totally aliens in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!

20. Last but certainly not least, what are you working on, now?
I’m writing a fan-fiction sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I want to make it an animated short film. Ideally, there would be a release for the soundtrack as well.
