Raul Malo - "Lucky One" (MP3)

Thursday, Feb 12, 2009

Country crooner and former Mavericks frontman Raul Malo returns with his first record of new original material in seven years. Possessing one of the finest set of pipes in popular music, Malo most closely evokes Roy Orbison. Lucky One releases March 3rd on Fantasy Records and here’s the title track to whet your appetite. Catch him live this spring as well (tour dates below). Stay tuned for a PopMatters 20 Questions with Malo soon.
