RIAA's self-inflicted woes

Friday, Mar 23, 2007

Oh the poor RIAA… their legal escapades with lawsuits against downloaders are catching up with them more and more now as witnessed by these recent stories:

* University of Wisconsin Pushes Back on RIAA Demands- where the school rebuffed the RIAA’s sleazy quick-settlement policy

* RIAA balks at Debbie Foster court ruling- Bush isn’t the only one seeking confidentiality protection for his shady dealings, though like Bush, they’re likely to be forced to comply

* Judge’s decision leaves RIAA with lose-lose situation: “... the case must either proceed to trial or be dismissed with prejudice.”

* RIAA Wins Worst Company In America 2007- hey, they beat out Haliburton!

Ah, karma’s a bitch, ain’t it…?
