This is the record crafted for the scenery on these drives that range from the seemingly barren to the overwhelmingly bountiful. Though easily classified as dusty folk-rock with tinges of mellow pop, the simple depth of range on Slumping In Your Murals is outstanding.

Tracks like the bending and swaying “Horse and Rider” present something of a modern-day Neil Young to the young and uninitiated. Yes, there’s a theme developing here. It’s a genuine shame a band like Share can get four albums into its career and not get the attention it deserves. Perhaps, like the drive through eastern Canada, this Halifax five-piece is best left as a secret.
