This English outfit is fairly English in its Englishness.  Brash and bratty, it’s one part Smiths, one part Clash, and one part something you’d hear in the dance hall. At just under 23-minutes, The Wombats: iTunes Festival London 2011 may be one of the briefest greatest hits collections in recent memory.  “Kill the Director”, “Jump Into the Fog” and “Our Perfect Disease” all sound perfectly energetic and worth singing along with, but unless you’re a Wombats fanatic this may be a bit of a stretch for you. It’s perhaps a nifty souvenir for your portable music device or something to impress friends with at parties, but little more. You’re probably better off picking up a copy of the recent This Modern Glitch.  If you already own that album, just stir crowd noises into your existing Wombats’ favorites and call it good.
