Long Live All of Us

(Last Chance; US: 4 Oct 2011)

Rooted in the rich musical heritage of their Southern bailiwick, yet fully aware of the era in which they live, lucky record number seven finds Murfreesboro, TN roots stalwarts Glossary continuing to assert their role as the best band in America not named Centro-matic. Bad things still still happen to good people in the 21st Century and as such, Joey Knieser and company have set out to inject some positivity into the proceedings. Long Live All of Us is the perfect distillation of all that is poppy and tuneful, Kneiser taking the lead on songwriting and vocals, with wife Kelly providing harmonies that are as tight as a garter and twice as sexy. Like Bonnie and Delaney meets Richard and Linda with better domestic results, Long Live All of Us manages to sound like your all favorite records from last century while establishing itself a classic of the modern age.
